Want to do more for African children? Take the opportunity to volunteer your time and talents to help others in need.
New Life is in need of volunteers for their after school programme. The after school programme is Monday through Friday from 3-6pm. In addition, you may get involved in the feeding programme, discipleship training, hospital/townships visits and outreaches.
Work hard, play hard! Qolweni township is located in Plettenberg Bay, a beautiful town located on the southern coast. Plett is a popular tourist area and on off days you are free to enjoy all that South Africa has to offer. There are hiking trails, elephant sanctuaries, safaris, whale and shark sea safaris, game reserves, beautiful beaches, extreme sports, and traditional and market shopping. New Life will provided accommodation and transportation for your group.
You are blessed to be a blessing! Volunteers are welcome to join us on long term or short term basis to share your skills and talents here in South Africa! Do you love playing with children, feeding the poor, giving our clothes? Maybe you can teach music, art, drama, or help with schoolwork?
We accept volunteers in various areas of service:
Place of Hope Africa: caring for orphans, and vulnerable children ages 0-6 years old, sharing love
New Life Kids Program: after school activities, sports, home work, arts, music classes, choir, dance
Kids Camps and Outings: Monkey Land, Elephant Park, Safari, Hiking, Beach, and Vacation Bible School
Feeding Programs: Two locations offer a soup kitchen to feed poor and needy children one meal per day
New Life Church: Evangelism, outreaches, training seminars, camps, Bible classes
